Commonly known as a Bird of Paradise this gigantic specimen is an absolutely beauty. It is by far the biggest plant we have ever stocked at Junglist and will need a large and sunny position. The foliage is gorgeous matt sage green and the flowers….We need to talk about the flowers – huge and parrot like in appearance, this plant has so many more buds ready to open bringing the tropics straight into your home.

Give it a really bright spot with stacks of sunshine – the more light the better (although don’t position too close to the glass of a window as the leaves could become scorched), feed through the spring and summer and you’ll see it flower year after year.

Keep soil on the wet side and humidity levels high – regular misting or a pebble tray will help with this, water with rainwater and it will love you for it !

It can be moved outside during the summer when temperatures are warm.
